Dr. Mara Sobel graduated medical school from the University of Ottawa and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto. She pursued a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at McMaster University. She has a Masters degree in clinical epidemiology. Her research interests include medical education, optimization of peri-operative care, minimally invasive surgery and surgical management of women with endometriosis.

Dr. Sobel is now assistant professor at the University of Toronto and practices from Mount Sinai Hospital.
